John's Mom turned 90 years young on Oct. 24th of this year. We had a celebration for her at our house. Around 35 family members came to eat barbeque, fixin's and cake.

My ballerina grand daughter
Layne had her second ballet recital this past May. She was so beautiful and knew all of her steps.
The week before the recital, I was talking to her about it and she said, "...and you will bring me flowers." So, of course, I did!
Nana and Grandaddy were there to cheer our ballerina on.

Abbey dabbles with Volleyball
Backtracking...
This past February, Abbey gave volleyball a chance. She really enjoyed it, but at the end of the summer, decided that swimming was her passion. (At least for now).
Dad was recruited to be a line judge...you can tell it was an exciting position!
My girl was ready!

Maybe she will choose to play again, but for now we've traded bleachers in a gym for chairs beside the pool!

Elijah Tae Kwon Do Finale-July 2016
Elijah attended a Tae Kwon Do camp at a local church for a week this past summer. The finale consisted of each camper breaking a board.
He was so proud of himself, and I was quite proud of him too!!
