Waiting for Silas..January 4th- 6th, 2020

Anna knew that she was getting close to Silas being born. All of her girls came early and she had already dilated to 4cm. We wanted a time to have Layne come and stay, so we brought them to our house, hoping that Silas would make his entrance.  While they were here, we kept busy.

We went to the museum of Science downtown.

They enjoyed the Discovery Room at the museum

Visiting the butterfly room

we saw a fun show about dry ice.

Then we went to the park the next day

 My beauty...

 Never too old to swing!

But...still no Silas, so they went home for Layne to go to school. Anna had a Dr's appt. on the 8th. So the plan is for the girls to come back, and Anna will try to have them strip her membranes.(she would be 38 weeks, they wouldn't do it before then)

Christmas 2019, Dec. 24-Dec. 30

 menu for Christmas Day
It was a gorgeous day, so we took a walk and saw this owl.

 Our traditional Christmas Eve.

Christmas morning, John came over early and the kids baked cinnamon rolls to eat in our room/bed. Then presents!

They had no idea about the PS 4

Nana met Jude. Beth, Greg and Evie came in along with Anna, Jamie and girls late in the afternoon.

Abbey's latest stage was Visco girl and this is a shirt that pays homage to all that was Visco.
Evie stayed with us for a few days and we went to the beach. The weather was gorgeous!

I had an awful cold, thus the puffy eyes.

Love the feeling of a little hand in mine!
 Being goofy at McDonalds

 crafts
 TV
 lots of beach time

Imagine at the end of Dec. to be in the surf?

 visiting the park

 Paying Flip Tac Toe
She got her Mom's Felicity Doll
 Gingerbread house architect
I took Evie home and stayed overnight. I got to see this sweet boy practice his newly found smiles!

Solly's not so happy about the Santa suit.
