Because Abbey's birthday was on the Sunday before we left for China, we decided to wait and give her a party when we got home. With football games and friends' schedules, this was the first Saturday that we could have the party. We had 4 of Abbey's closest buddies come and go to Jumpin' Beans with us.

After that, we went to our house and ate lunch topped with cake,another Dora made by Nana and Grandaddy, and ice cream and

They all seemed to have a great time. Saturday night as I was putting her in bed, Abbey said, "Thank you for my birthday party." I thought that was wonderful to come unsolicited from a three year old. It really touched my heart.
What a fun time that was! Kylie is still politely requesting that we find a "pretty blue dress with gold bands around the sleeves and a gold part in the front so I can dress up and be beautiful like at Abbey's party."
