Three Months!!

Today makes three months since our lives were blessed with the addition of Mr. Elijah Grayson Jianyi D. It seems like it has been so much longer, because it feels like he's always been here. He is such a sweet, sweet boy. He loves to be held, sometimes too much (see tantrum photo below). He still throws tantrums occasionally, but they are very quickly over. I think he has figured out it will not get him anywhere. He loves all of his family. He still likes strangers, but holds out his hands to be held by them a little less than he did. He loves his big sister. They have started to play together. She tries to make him laugh, and is usually successful. As a result of his love of eating, I can tell he has grown. His 12 month pants and shirts are getting too short in the arm and leg length. He is sleeping wonderfully. One of the words he says consistently is "night, night" and he uses it correctly. He will go down without crying and wakes up without screaming. If Abbey doesn't wake him up, he will sleep very late in the morning(a child after his mom's heart). But, of course, Abbey wants to get up as soon as "Mr Sun" shows himself. Other words he says are "La la" for the dogs(Layla and Lillie), "taan-kwoo" for thank you, "ut-ut-ut-ooooh" for ut-oh. He responds to "no" pretty well. Tonight he started this cute little dancing thing. He taps his feet quickly and looks like he is tap dancing. He likes to dance. I haven't found any foods that he will not eat. He has one molar coming in, that brings the total to 5 teeth.

We are so blessed. Both of our hearts gush with love for this little one. We are so very thankful to the Lord for giving him to us.
