A late birthday present to me.

I've always enjoyed the music of the band, "Need to Breathe", so when I heard they were coming to Raleigh, I asked John to go with me as a late birthday present. He was so-so about the band, but he's more than so-so about me, so he agreed to go with me.

It was one of the best concerts we've ever been to. The venue, "The Ritz", was very small and had no seating. I didn't mind standing, as we were so up close and personal.

At one point the lead singer came into the crowd and was right by us.

I loved it!! By the end, John was also a big fan!! A thoroughly enjoyable night out with my best guy!
