Visiting with my Sanchez girlies~June

I love the way my daughter, Anna, does my hair....the only problem is she lives 2 hours away. On the other hand, this is a good thing. It gives me time to spend with Anna and her girls.

This is Lyra's "stink face" before she blasts you with a gun! Wouldn't want to meet that menacing face in a dark alley, would you?

I coordinated my hair visit with watching Waverly at her gymnastics class.

 These two are buddies!

We travelled back to Winston the next Sat. to see Layne's hip-hop recital. She was about as cute as they come!

A little while later, the girls stayed with me for an overnight visit.  Pancakes and whip cream for a special breakfast!

 Park play
What a sweet big sister.

So much fun, tires a girlie out!

Paul McCartney comes to Raleigh~ May 27, 2019

We've seen Paul McCartney many times, but with the fact that he in in his 70's any concert could be his last! We felt the need to go. Tickets went on sale and were quickly sold out. John went to a secondary wholesaler and got tickets for me and him. This was going to turn out to be a huge mistake. He bought the tickets in October for a concert in May!! The company said they would email the tickets 2 days before the concert. Two days before and still no tickets. One day before, and still no tickets...the day of, and still no tickets. After 2 hours of holding and being passed around, he finally found out that they had sold our tickets and gave us tickets that weren't as good as what we had purchased. IT was a major hassle! But we did get to go and see Paul perform.

He was a bit shaky, at one point, he cracked several times and had to get some water. It was sad to watch. Remembering his age, though made us appreciate that he could even do as well as he did.

No matter the seats, or the performance, it was fun to be on a date night with my honey!
