Paris, look out, here we come~ Day 6

It was time to move to the next leg of our Europe vacation....Paris! We got up, had breakfast and took a cab to the Eurostar station. Navigating the train station wasn't very hard and we had plenty of time.

The last time a smile would be on my incredibly motion sick face...

I got sooo sick. I wish I could have enjoyed the English and French countryside.

But, I was so very close to tossing my cookies!

We finally got to Paris, and all was well. We got a taxi and went to our hotel.

Our hotel was old, hot (no a/c), and very tiny. But the room's view was incredible!

We unloaded and immediately got a cab to go to The Louvre. We made a bee line for the woman herself...The Mona Lisa!

We didn't have very much time, but we did get to see Venus DeMilo and some other famous paintings. The architecture of that former palace is incredible.

We got a cab back to our hotel and walked a couple of blocks to have some dinner..what an amazing view!

After dinner we went over to The Arc De'triomphe and explored the Champs-Élysées

Louis Vutton store...to go in there, you had to be frisked with a metal detector

 The Eiffel Tower at night

The first day in Paris came to an end and we thoroughly enjoyed the nighttime view from our room's balcony.

  1. Hello Glinda. I am a Pastor from Mumbai, India. I am glad to stop by your profile on the blogger and the blog post. I am also blessed and feel privileged and honoured to get connected with you as well as know you and about your interest in the Word of God and in adoption. Your Paris trip seems to be full of adventures. The pictures on the blog post of your visit to Paris are eye catching. I love getting connected with the people of God around the globe to be encouraged, strengthened and praying for one another. I have been in the Pastoral ministry for last 39 yrs in this great city of Mumbai a city with a great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the brokenhearted. We also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. We would love to have your grown up children in their late teen and above to come to Mumbai to work with us during your vacation time. I am sure they will have a life changing experience. Looking forward to hear from you very soon. God's richest blessings on you, your family and friends. My email id is: dhwankhede(at)gmail(dot)com and my name is Diwakar Wankhede.
