Trip to the museum

Last Friday, we went with some OAKS folks to the Museum of Natural Sciences. We went to storytime/meet the animal first. That day we met lizards. Abbey and Elijah didn't hesitate one little bit-

Then we went to the butterfly room. Abbey wanted so badly to touch a butterfly she walked around like this-

hoping a butterfly would land on her finger

Elijah was content to watch from the stroller

We then shared lunch, and Elijah, thanks to Ms. Jody, got his first popsicle.

Then we went into the discovery room. There was so much to do there. 

We started out with animal costumes:

A beautiful butterfly

A turtle

An  opossum

We got to study things up close

Elijah with one of his favorite people, Ms. Jody

Abbey played with a live beetle. 

And made music with Cali and Lily

The kids really enjoyed our visit to the museum.
